As part of my uni course I am reading Salman Rushdie's "Haroun and the Sea of Stories". I walk around either laughing at some of the antics that Haroun gets up to or with a sense of wonder about the creative powers of Salman Rushdie. If you get the chance, have a read and you will see what I mean:):)
Poem No 5 -
In search...
Over the mountains
she trudges, alone
at last with
her spirit self
This journey she undertakes
with hope in her
heart...that leads
her on and on
She must find the answer
herself, she searches
in the recess of her
mind...within a bodily challenge
The dark cold nights, the
cold light days, she
knows her way
from ancient senses.©
Have good one:):)
